Hope and Change(Democrat)

6 February, 2010 (15:38) | Politics | By: Richard

I am not one prone to fully accept campaign slogans made by politicians while campaigning for office and I especially did not accept the slogan by Barack Obama and his Hope and Change campaign for the White House. Especially when I see statements made by people who ignorantly believed Barack Obama would pay their mortgage for them and put gas in her car.  When Obama supporters were asked to name a single accomplishment he made not a single person could give an accomplishment by Barack Obama. The lunacy of voting someone into office based on those ways of thinking and expectations scares the hell out of me.

Over a year later this man (Obama) has been a total disaster for our economy. It brings up the subject of Cloward Piven and seeing the policies and the amount of debt this man has stacked up in such a short period of time there are people who believe Barack Obama is actually implementing the Cloward Piven strategy which will cause a complete collapse of the US economy and cause devastation beyond imagination. It is difficult for people to believe, hell it is difficult for me to believe this can happen to the good old USA but it is very possible given what this man has done in such a short period of time. It has me hoping for a change of the US president soon.

I don’t think anyone has to know that the radio person pictured and speaking here is Howard Stern but he is exposing the vast ignorance of many Obama Supporters. One more video that shows the ignorance of Obama voters and then we will get to the meat of this posting.

Remember, the people you heard and saw in these videos are voters plus they have drivers licenses and can actually reproduce. Really scary don’t you think?

I feel like I am witnessing the film “Return of the King” where just in the nick of time the evil is destroyed. I believe that is what happened at Copenhagen and that is what happened with the health care fiasco that I believe Obama finally gave up on after Scott Brown won the senate seat in Massachusetts. The fight is not over though because I keep hearing news reports that Obama wants to implement cap and trade to help the environment when the environmental movement is quickly deflating because it was exposed to be the corrupt and lying group they were.  After all the stuff about the Climategate emails and the lies found in the IPCC’s reports he still wants to propose cap and trade. Why do Democrats hide from facts and try to push failed policies at the population? Obama is still blaming Bush for the economic woes of this country even though the congress was controlled by Democrats during Bushes last term. Sure, Bush has to take some of the blame but the Democrats played some very dirty tricks behind the scenes and now it is blame Bush festival. See this article from 2003 and see that Bush tried to stop Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae from being controlled through politics but Barney Frank Democrat and company opposed it. Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae is the root of the economic collapse experienced in 2008 and 2009 of many mortgage companies including many financial institutions who invested heavily in the sub-prime mortgage market. Policies of Freddie and Fannie were being heavily influenced by Barny Frank (the house banking queen) and Senator Chris Dodd, both Democrats. If you go back in time you will see this started in the Clinton administration and was followed by the repealing of Glass Steagle. All these things combined lead to the perfect storm which caused the collapse. Now we pile on top of all the recent economic woes and add several trillion dollars in debt and we have another perfect storm for another collapse…….this time a catastrophic collapse.

Did they think this through though? Of course you’ve got these mass of idiots seen in the videos above who have an entitlement mentality so when the collapse comes (if it comes – I hope not) these people will not be able to take care of themselves. These people are sheep and want someone to control their lives.they will give up their freedom so that the government would take care of them. Until it truly happened and then they get a dose of Soviet life. I am not worried of a collapse because I know I can take care of myself. If it does happen their will be enough true patriots who will clean house and get rid of bloated federal government we have which will allow the states to make the rules and regulations and laws as it was originally intended in the constitution. The socialist utopia that is dream of Cloward Piven supporters will never happen because they have sheep for followers and not true independent thinkers and doers that makes up a large part of our country……….the good ole USA.

And one other thing……here’s to hope and change that these idiots will stop crooning about global warming! and here.

Experiments in Socilaism

A communist star

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class.

That class had insisted that Obama’s spread-the-wealth socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, “OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama’s plan”.

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.

As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.
The second test average was a D!
No one was happy.

When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering,
blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

Want more examples of socialism and fascism at work – take a trip to Venezuela for the latest socialist and fascist experiment. Visit Florida and talk to some former boat people from Cuba or visit any of the former Soviet Block countries and see the result of decades of socialism and what it did to people. Don’t forget Zimbabwe as another recent example of socialism and fascism. Cambodia’s Pol Pot is yet another example……………..need I name more or are the kool-aid drinkers doomed to repeat history because they stick their head in the sand.

Here is a great article for the kool-aid drinkers. – excerpt – Some 100 million people have died in the pursuit of a communist utopia.

Solving Problems

Selling Obamacare - July 22, 2009

It seems to be a talking point in any type of debate about Washington and passing new legislation – Why are the Republicans not contributing anything to solve problems? It has been heard over and over again including in recent campaigning by the left  (Martha Coakley Massachusetts Senate Special election) that Republicans are “do nothing” or “obstructionist” for solving problems. GOP Stonewalling is another term I’ve heard them use.  And what problems are they speaking of here? They claim that health care in this country is in crisis. They use the tactics of demonizing the insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and other key players in the health care industry.  They want to use the power of government to fix this crisis of health care. But how? There solution seems to be to ignore the facts and demonize the health care industry. This leads a reasonably intelligent person to believe their motives are not to improve health care care for the people but for some other diabolical reason – namely they want more power for their party and the corrupt philosophy they represent.

First of all there is not one single model of any government in the world effectively managing health care without major problems including budget problems or actually giving the people under that type of health care the type of care currently offered in the USA.  Any government managed health care system in the world is nothing but an experiment in socialism and everyone knows how successful socialism is……….right? (Everyone except Democrats and Progressives) History gives us that lesson.   Here is small list of the success of government run health care systems:

Okay, there are hundreds if not thousands of stories out there we could link to that tells you how bad socialized or government run health care is for people living in those countries. I have specific questions for politicians and people who want the US government to manage my health care:

  • Is there an exit strategy if this thing doesn’t work out? I mean social security is broke, medicare and Medicaid are on life support and bleeding the states like a stuffed pig but we continue with these ponzi schemes like everything is okay.
  • Who is the genius that wants me to buy this current health care proposal? The genius that says it will not effect the budget???? I can’t stop laughing at that………….you must be really stupid if you believe the government is going to take over 1/7th of the US economy and it will not effect the budget of the USA no matter how you spin it.
  • Another genius came up with this: You are going to save money on health care by raising taxes on health care providers and suppliers of health care products. HUH???? It doesn’t cost a supplier when you raise taxes on what they are selling. It cost the consumer. Here is some help for those who don’t get it…………………a buggy whip retails for 100 dollars and Uncle Sam decides to tax that buggy whip 10%. Does the retailer still sell the buggy whip for 100 dollars and pay Uncle Sam 10 dollars of that for the tax? No, the retailer sells the buggy whip for 110 dollars passing the tax on to you the consumer.

More to come later…………..I’ll leave you with this

Now back to the chief topic of solving problems and why the GOP have earned the name obstructionist, do nothing, or not contributing to the health care plan as drawn up by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. As a nation we went over 200 years without without the government becoming involved in health care except for state and federal governments regulating health insurance and tort laws. I will agree that tort law is not a straight forward topic however the solution to the problem of too many ambulance chasing lawyers suing everyone in site is to make a loser pays system. If a lawyer sues in court and loses then he is responsible for paying the legal fees of the entire process. I will also agree that certain industries do need some regulation but do these industries need government regulation? Doctors, lawyers, and engineers regulate themselves and set standards of conduct and quality of work as do most industries because they know poor quality of work and bad conduct will hurt their profession and/or industry. Anytime you add government regulation to the equation you add a layer of bureaucracy and extra expense that makes the services and products offered by these industries more expensive.

I believe the solution is not to add more government to the process but to get government out of the way and let the market control the cost. Stop creating more entitlements and growing government which ultimately kills the productive side of our economy because it sucks a vast amount of resources (namely the money taken for taxes) from the private sector to give to a government that is not accountable because of bureaucracy.  The current cost of entitlement programs to the taxpayers of the USA is over 100 trillion dollars (and here).

In conclusion, the GOP are not obstructionist or standing in the way of anything. They understand that the solution is not government. The problem is government and excessive government regulation. The Democrats want to make this behemoth bigger and bigger at the expense of the private sector knowing full well there is no model in the world of such a successful type of system. It is a pipe dream and in my opinion will only lead to bankrupting this country and possibly leading to a split in the USA by causing states to leave the Union. We all know what happened the last time that happened.

From Big Foot……………….
